questions of will the DB play improve and will we get more pressure to opposing qbs.

1) Who will be the bigger contributor, Nick Kurtz or Nate Carter? Both guys have more seasoned guys ahead of them in Mitch Mattews and Algie Brown.

2) Will someone emerge as a surprise roll player?

3) How much PT will Mangum get? I wan't him to get as much as he can get without Taysom being hurt. *knocking on wood*

4) Will BYU's offense still be going a million miles an hour or will they scale back the GFGH in order to save some wear and tear on the D. I'm not saying I dislike the GFGH system but I though Nick Saban's comments about Alabama going fast and it taking it's toll on the D was interesting. There is probably something to that.

5) How will special teams look? Loosing Scott Arlano hurt. Will Linehan step up?

And specifically in regard to the Nebraska game

6) Will BYU be able to control the momentum in the game enough to keep the crowd out of it? It was fun seeing the Texas fans with the wind out their sails last year, especially in the 3rd quarter when the realization set in that BYU once AGAIN steam-rolled you. You can bet its going to be a crazy atmosphere being the opening game of the season and the fist real opening challenge for Nebraska in many years.
