"Dad, all of my cousins and friends have a a gaming system and so and so has 2 or 3 how come we can't have one?"

I've pulled out my routine "we don't worry about what others have and we just worry about ourselves routine" dozens of times on this topic so I'm leaning towards its time.

However, I'm with you. I wasn't a gamer. I played pick up hoops to fill my time or football or baseball or rode bikes with my pals or caught tadpoles or strung up cats etc etc. Ive never understood the mind of a gamer cause I never was one.
