Sounds like you had some talent or you would not have been able to become a sharpshooter. Whether you could dribble well or had the physical tools should have been irrelevant but that is life.

I also faced some serious politics in high school bball and had the talent and tools to start my junior year but instead they played me 2nd team to a sophomore who was not as good as me but was part of the "in" crowd with the other starters. I quit the team for my senior year but it taught me some good life lessons.
