I pretend to be a lawyer on occasion, but I'm rarely successful at it.
I think it's entirely fair to criticize the decision and the finding of liability. But the criticism should focus on the finding that it was, in fact, more probable than not that he knew about the deflated footballs, not on the legal standard applied.

That said, I haven't seen the decision, and I don't know a lick about labor law.
