Was that BYU felt relevant back in those days. People can compare Bronco and Lavell's records but even though BYU played in the WAC and still had its detractors, BYU was in the "in crowd" of college football. Now, BYU is still sort of an after thought. It's what happens when you don't do anything significant in a long time. BYU badly needs to do something major. Hopefully this is that year.
