and showing stats from former Sr QB's and expecting like or better things from Taysom. I will admit I have a huge man crush on the kid and believe we have an athlete that is more elite than we know. BUT I see a major diff in his supporting team that ALL of the other Sr QB's had and was a main stay of the BYU passing game as far back as I can remember BTW I am 50 so I am not the oldest but I have seen a respectable if not fanatical number of BYU home and away games. ALL the others have had a STUD TE to bail them out of tight situations and keep drives alive or win games Pitta and George not to mention Kelly Smith I believe caught the game winner in 84. Do we really not have a Byron Rex at least on the team or does the good Dr just not know how to use one? He sure saw plenty of drive extending catches by TE from his O line position back in the day to know we NEED one?
