on Sportscenter. He lives in NY and is admittedly way more into pro than college football but, during a phone call this morning, remarked he was surprised to see Utah wearing red as he seemed to recall them wearing blue, "way back in the day when they had all those good QBs."

I replied that he must be thinking of BYU. His response was, "oh yeah, I guess that was BYU I was thinking of. Haven't heard about them for a long time. Do they still have a football team?"

I replied that they do and will be playing against Nebraska on national TV on Saturday.

The not too surprising takeaway I got was that, from one East coast pro football fan's perspective, BYU has not been relevant for a long time and Utah has never been relevant.
