To be fair to the UM QB two of his picks were actually good throws...
he put the ball where the route required it. The receiver in each of those failed the route, although on the pick-6 Thomas may have had it read right either way, it just wouldn't have been as easy for him if the route was run correctly. His long ball is completely inaccurate which is a shame because he's got a couple of guys who can force separation pretty quickly.

Utah's special teams left 6 points on the table but your point stands. Using your D and ST to really make opponents pay for their mistakes is a huge deal. It deflates an offense who has to stay in the field longer and gets backed up with an even higher mountain to climb.

I'll be surprised if Paul isn't running stairs today. He's responsible for 7 Michigan points and gave momentum to UM on an early drive that would have been dead without his antics.
