Why is it so hard for people to get that? I'm assuming that it's the emotion of
the thing (with an obvious agenda added to the mix in the case of BYU-bashers, both inside and outside the fan base). I mean, sure, they can provide some amusement, but it starts to get sad when you realize that they aren't kidding. Then comes the guilt of not having been nicer to them, considering, well...Anyway, momma taught me to be kind to the less fortunate, bless their hearts.
