I've had what I think is an inflamed eye lash follicle off and on for a while. Sometimes it gets irritate and gets a little red bump, but then it dies down.

But over the past week it's become worse. The whole bottom eyelid is swollen and it's slightly painful (a 2 on a 1-10 scale). Any ideas?

I really don't want to go to the doctor for this as I doubt there is any prescription that will fix it. He'll probably just give me a home remedy, like putting ice on it, and it will work. I'd just rather not pay a copay plus more for that home remedy advice.
