Sounds like a chalazion. I've had several, they aren't fun.
Usually they will go away on their own, but it wouldn't hurt to see your ophthalmologist. He'll probably suggest warm compresses but may also prescribe steroid drops for your eyes and if it still doesn't go away, he may inject it with a steroid or surgically remove it.
