Here are the redzone scoring stats
http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/team/703

BYU is ranked #15 in redzone scoring, with a score on 14 out of 15 redzone visits. Of that, 8 were touchdowns (5 rushing, 3 passing), and 6 were field goals. So around 53% of the time we reach the redzone we are getting a touchdown. Not great, but not horrible, either. So settling for 6 field goals instead of touchdowns on the year means we have given up 24 points across 5 games. It certainly would have made a difference in the UCLA game if we were able to get a TD instead of a FG to go up by 10 points with 6 minutes to go. The other games, not as much.

Both Memphis and NC State are impressive. Both teams have been to the redzone much more than we have, and both have impressive TD percentages (NC State is 21/24 touchdowns, Memphis is 23/28 touchdowns).

My issue is BYU seems good between the 20's and not great in the red zone. (The Board Idiot, Oct 4, 2015 at 11:15am)
