brush works for brushing my teeth the same as yours but the screw part gets water and then slime upside the base of the tooth brush. I have to clean it about every 2 to 3 weeks. You don't see anything until you unscrew it and looked inside.

THis is the one I would not get again.

No question electric brushes are better. And of them, Sonicare is the best.
