I am 100% for BYU being independent.(obviously I'd prefer p5 ) I never want to see BYU in a group of five conference ever again. I love college football and watch it whenever I can.

As a huge college football fan; being in a conference makes it so other games directly affect your team, and make other games truly matter and compelling to watch. We'd have to be in the ny6/cfp hunt for me to really get fired up and invested in a non-byu game. Fans of teams in conference races can have a genuine interest in other games.

It just makes the season more exciting.
