You are taking a very minimalist approach by narrowly focusing on record and record alone.

19 BYU players drafted into the NFL from 1990 to 1999. Bronco has had 8, only 1 was a player he recruited
You can't remove the Cotton bowl season, top 5 finish and a Heisman trophy winner because it happened... that's a big pretty big deal that can't be removed to try and prove a point.
