You have to keep th Astros in consideration for next year. They lose Kazmir but have Carlos Gomez & Fiers left out of the moves they made this year. You also have to like all their young talent Kuechel, Altuve, Correa, McCullers & McHugh. There will be more bumps on the way but they should continue to contend.

The Angels have a problem. While they pay Josh to play for the Rangers, all of their LF options which they traded for are free agents - Murphy, Victorino, DeJesus. CJ looked bad & Weaver looked worse. Pujols & Trout were awesome but no amount of money fixes the rest of the problems. I'm reminded of what Roland Betts (former owner of the Rangers) once said - money on salaries does not correlate to performance on the field. When asked what does correlate he said chemistry and coaching. That doesn't bode well for Los Angeles
