I don't think Anae has anything to do with the offense sputtering in the redzone
now. He is moving the ball well up and down the field, and we are stalling in the redzone for other execution issues. I remember 2 or 3 redzone plays on Friday where we just missed the pass on the receiver in the endzone. The play call was good, the receiver was open, but Mangum was hurried from poor OL blocking, or he just missed the throw. Don't know how you can blame the OC for that. The players have to make the play at some point.

But if you look at the numbers, our RZ offense isn't that bad. 8 TD's out of 15 trips to the redzone this year, and 6 FG's. And we probably shouldn't count that last RZ trip from the UConn game where we kicked the FG with 30 seconds left. We weren't trying to score a TD there, we were trying to run out the clock. So 8 TD's out of 14 RZ visits on the year puts us at scoring a TD 58% of the time. That isn't top 10 numbers, but it's not bad.
