Typically the grades are based on assignment soundness and assignment performance. While his low YPC should impact his performance grade, it is hard to gauge because it is dependent on five or six other guys being assignment sound and executing well. Even then, sometimes you just get beat. I am not taking the viewpoint of an apologist, by the way.
