I don't blame Carter at all. Kid is living his dream.
He is putting his blood, sweat and tears out there, and doing everything he can to help his team win.
But if he is not performing, and keeps getting meaningful reps, I put it on the guys giving him the reps. Because I do not blame a kid for trying to live out his football dream at BYU at all.
CB needs to give Carter a break. If you have an issue with his stats and performance, take it up with the guy choosing to play him.
