I'm not sure he's a 'between the tackles' kind of runner but that seems to be whats called for him every play. I'd like to see him more in a roll as a short receiver in the flat or possibly in a draw play since we've apparently added the draw back into the play book.

I recall the coachs saying about Carter that in spring and fall camps as being a player who was elusive. I don't think a dive up the middle on every time he touches the ball uses those any elusiveness he might have.
