RE: Denver, CO
Like cougfanblue said- Highlands Ranch, Parker, and South Aurora are all great spots. They are suburbs and actually pretty highly populated LDS. If you want more of an urban lifestyle though there are good places near the tech center in Greenwood Village and around, but most LDS seem to enjoy the suburbs more. The school districts are great as well.

Cost of living is pretty high right now in real estate. Denver has had the highest price increases in the nation over the last few years. Prices are well above what they were before the recession. Most feel it isn't in a bubble though. Denver's economy is very healthy and is growing fast. A lot of people are moving to Denver.

I'm in Parker and work in Highlands Ranch. My wife and I really like it. All the wards I've seen in Parker have a lot of young families and are really big wards. My wife made plenty of friends really easily. We were only going to be here for a short time but we like it so much we've decided to stay for a while and are actually building a home right now.
