Friends. I am flying thru lax and am planning a layover of 10ish hours with my wife and baby. I am applying for grad schools next fall and want to get a head start and visit ucla on this layover. We are looking at rental cars, and dollar/thrifty are extremely cheap for this ~10 hour rental. ($26!) do I pay double and go with budget/Avis? Or do I roll the dice with these guys? Anyone have experience?
