This can't be true, everyone on CB was singing Geoff Martzen's praisies
on great the recruiting was under his tenure. Sarcasm aide, Covey would've looked great in Cougar blue and that could still happen if he pulls a Harvey Langi on us but we can talk about how much "love" BYU should've shown him during the recruiting process but at the end of the day, the kid chose Utah when he could've gone to BYU.

Covey to Utah isn't complicated: Utah established recruiting credibility, was first to believe in his talent while BYU played catchup

BYU simply doesn't have the allure it once did in playing catchup with programs like Utah. Just the way it is these days

What is relevant is that BYU has been WAY out in front in offering top local kids for 2016...really made necessary changes on that front
