that is what I've heard from the media today. According to Gunther Utah will embarrass Cal and ASU and won't lose again. Also heard 1280 saying the Utah Cal game won't be close. Its interesting how high the media gets on Utah when they are good, and how low they get on BYU when they are good. For example last year when we start 4-0 or even 2-0 this year, they just said the teams we were playing weren't good. I do think Utah will most likely win, however I think Cal will really challenge them because of their style of O. This is the style that typically hurts utah just like Washington State last year. This one made me laugh... but Gunther said that Booker is the best RB in the nation.... Apparently he doesn't get out much since he hasn't heard of the guys playing for LSU or Ohio State. Booker isn't even the best back in his conference.

Gunther basically said that every team will run all over BYU (even though BYU only gave up 60 to uconn without travis who is back now) and that BYU has been and is still the exact same team that they were last year without Taysom. Sometimes some of the things he says and others in the media make me wonder if they even really watch BYU's games. My biggest gripe with Gunther is he always talks about how Utah dominated Michigan even though they only won by 7 he always says that they just killed Michigan. He backs that up by saying that utah killed them in the trenches. Then he talks about the Uconn BYU game and says that it was very close and BYU barely pulled it out in the end. BYU had double the yards that Uconn did, which means they killed uconn in the trenches. Gunther likes to say one thing for one team a lot and then not acknowledge the same when it comes to another team. He also compares depth at Utah and BYU when it comes to injuries but he always leaves one position out..... QB. Of course Utah and most teams can fill in non QB positions with somewhat success. Heck we have done a pretty good job of that this year. But if Utah lost Wilson they would be lucky to be 6-6.

For the most part I enjoy local sports talk radio. It gives me something to listen to and is entertaining. But some of the things I've been hearing lately make me wonder if these guys are high. Here is to hoping BYU wins out and Utah loses a couple so this crap can stop.
