some interesting info...
I only get a chance to chat with my blood related confidential informant on average about twice a year. Last weekend was one of those times. My previous conversation with this person I learned BYU to the Big 12 in 2017, likely football only. That info was given to me last fall, one year ago. 2017 is still the plan.
However, lots of tension right now. I guess many are on pins and needles. There is talk of an absorption of the Big 12 into the ACC by way of creating a 3rd division involving only 6-7 teams. Somehow, which I couldnt fully understand, this would dissolve contractual issues within that conference.
In this event, it's expected BYU and a select few would align with the remaining teams. This would be a full invite, obviously. I can only speculate who those teams might be, but Baylor, TCU, TTech, Iowa State, Cincy, UCONN, Boise, etc come to mind.
The Boston College matchup has hit several snags but looks to be finalized soon, trying hard to get them home for 2016, away 2019. I'm actually really looking forward to that one.
Stay motivated and dedicated boys !! Its the best school on the planet !
