Utah fake return vs. Oregon:

Does this only work because the punt drifted so far toward the far sideline, or could this have worked with just about any punt? If the punt is down the middle and Covey starts veering toward the near sideline and the return team sets up the return over where Covey is heading, would the second returner likely have been able to pull this off?

It just seems that the call and the actual punt had to align cosmically for this play to work like it did. It was really an amazing play.
