Seems like it should only be called if the guy is actually targeting the head
and instead of not going low. Just because you hit a guy straight on doesn't mean you're trying to take his head off. And yeah, I'm specifically referring to the ejection in last week's game.
Also, when a defender does go low, and the ball carrier lowers his helmet, and helmets collide, shouldn't the ball carrier be charged with targeting?
