Cal's defense wreaks a lot of havoc and Utah's offense is a big question mark. So far the yewts offense is good for just under 400 yards per game, which seems good but that is padded a lot by playing Oregon who probably has a bottom 20-30 defense.
Anyway, Cal's defense leads the nation in fumble recoveries, they are good for #2 in the country on interceptions, and they're good for #3 in total sacks.
Cal's offense is high powered. Cal scored 30 on Washington's defense who has a shutout and held Boise to 16, oh, and this was cal's lowest scoring game of the season.
Cal is averaging over 520 yards of offense per game, with their worst game being for 470 yards against Wazzu.
Meanwhile, Utah's defense is lackluster compared to years passed. They've allowed 373ypg. At the same time cal has allowed 387ypg and I don't see anyone claiming cal's defense is super stout.
I think this is going to be a shootout and hope Cal will come out on top due to turnovers.
