All those locations can regrow grass for most of the year

In Utah grass is dormant from October to March/April. Colored paint attracts more sunlight which burns and kills the grass eventually. BYU could do it for a few games and probably be okay but not all games as the grass doesn't grow/survive after October if you keep doing it over and over.

Amateur is also our field vs. Utah State last year. We don't get that a lot

RES turf wore out prematurely, that's why they're changing it already.
