I look at rankings and it drives me nuts that a team that is ranked high can beat up on crappy team or barely beat crappy teams and stay highly ranked. Yet if you are not ranked and have the same success you don't move up, or I should say you don't benefit from those wins very much.

It seems we have overrated teams every year at the top which makes it hard for a team that is good and just didn't start the season ranked high enough.

I also think waiting to rank teams would push the SEC schools to actually schedule some decent games early on.
