But there are always a ton of people looking to get in for $5 or $10....and they think if they wait til kickoff that people will start giving tickets away...but by that point everyone else is in the stadium and if you want to go to the game, you can either pay a scalper $20 or the ticket office $30. The pro scalpers usually stay out there til halftime, and sell to stragglers and late arrivals. I always stop at kickoff and go into the game. Most of us make $100-$500 per game, so sometimes having 5 or 6 tickets that you paid $5-10 for leftover isn't a big deal.
