In any event, yes, it's a lot to ask, but he asked about accomplishing something that is hard to do. You have to be willing to do hard things in order to accomplish something hard.
I also wouldn't ever suggest that someone do something I haven't done, myself. I've trained for a 4-hour marathon at 6'7" while keeping my bench strength above 350 and shedding 50+ pounds, so it can be done. No steroids or additional supplements required.
Bottom line: Lots of clean protein shakes.
