That era is past. NY6...meh...all just exhibitions. The playoffs are the only thing that matter. The difference in bowls is just the amount of crepe paper.
BSU can't play a tough enough schedule to get into a playoff. They simply can't. They have to play the MWC Schools. I want no part of that. I want to play the teams we are scheduling.
If we must cut off our own testicles, lower our heads, pee, and submit, let's go FCS. At least there we have a real path to a National championship.
We have a path to the ultimate college football championship. BSU doesn't. They would do what we're doing if they could. They can't.
I don't want an "everyone gets a trophy" trophy. I want to compete against the best. The MWC is not it. It's the WAC and Big West of a few years ago. That would be like getting held back in school.
I'd rather be in the big boy game for 100 years and never touch the prize than win 100 little league trophies.
It's like we're in the NCAA tourney and you want to go back to the NIT because we might win a couple.
Nope, you always take the NCAA. No one remembers who won the NIT. But they remember if you were a tourney team.
