It's already diminishing. There are hundreds of thousands of kids
who either recently graduated or are in college simply due to how accessible it is to them combined with not wanting to enter the workforce... Not necessarily because they are "studying to be ___".

When these types graduate with 100k + in student debt for their communications or photography degree they have the nerve to act like what they did was noble when in reality it was stupid and lazy.

If you're gonna go to college go with a real purpose not because you're prolonging childhood and using college as a justified hiding place. It's these types that have inflated the "college graduates without a job"'statistics. If they developed actual work habits and practical skills, they'd benefit society more than boasting about a piece of paper saying they hung out in class long enough to be a "criminal justice" major.
