I see most recommend the lithium, but what if it were the option of 20V Lithium vs. 18V Lithium?

Any opinions there?

I'd get the regular drill to drill holes, impact to drive screws, bolts, etc.

20v is preferable but more $$$ 18v is more than sufficient for a DIY guy.
