2016 Schedule
In looking closer, the 2016 schedule looks pretty tough. Crazy to think that we will be playing teams from 4/5 P5 conferences. That 6/12 games are against P5 teams and the remainder of our schedule aren't cupcakes either.

This will be a huge test for this team and program. I really like that Holmoe is scheduling these types of games. This is the type of test that we as a program needs to go through if we want to be able to compete week in and week out in a P5 conference if/when that invite comes. To have a schedule where there is not a stretch of "easy" games will prove to be good IMO. We need to bring it each week. Even though we have a high probability of only getting 4 or 5 wins next year, if there is marketable improvement (i.e. player development, recruiting, coaching, etc) then I am for going through these types of tests to get there.

I will be there for each home game as next year home schedule is going to be a good one.

I cannot stress how much I don't want to go back to the MWC. Yes, it may give us an in to the NY6 bowls, but have we really gained anything by playing through a bunch of teams that don't present the challenge and growth that we want as a football team? How much greater would it be to go 11-1 or in some cases 10-2 and get into an NY6 bowl being INDY instead of in the MWC.

At the end of the day, our goal, and I know it is the goal of BYU, is to get into a P5 conference. Whether that be the BIG12 or the PAC12 does not matter to me. The MWC would not move us forward. Schedules like this in INDY year over year will help us to get there IMO.
