I haven't had issues with Netflix on firestick, but I usually do Netflix on ATV
The OP says he's got an appletv, so I assume he'll use that for Netflix like I do.
The only channel I consistently have problems with when using firestick is BYUTV. It works better to stream it from my iPad to appletv than to watch it directly using the firestick. Not sure why that is. But everything else I've tried has worked fine.
