Has anyone ever heard a good, solid reason(s) from an active LDS Ute fan that
explains their hatred for BYU? Aside from a good old fashioned sports rivalry, which is understandable, why the hate? If the church that you believe in, whose prophet and some of its apostles are members of the BoD sponsor this school, why would you hate it? If the school you attend (UofU) is full of students and professors who hate and mock your religion, why join with them in hating an institution that your church sponsors? I just don't get it. You don't have to root for BYU sports teams, but why the hate? Anyone ever heard a good explanation for this?
