I was hoping someone would look at this. I was thinking of even 2 yards or less
as an important statistic to consider as well. I'm guessing % of carries at <2 yards is likely 40% of our total rushes.

I'm glad for the yardage that Algie has had in the past couple of games. However, throw out his longest run or two and the rest of the his YPC # are lackluster. We get all caught up in overall statistics and overlook that we aren't very consistent in picking up decent rushing yards on individual carries.

We need to have more consistent running game and be able to depend upon picking up 2-3-4 yards for a first down. We've had to throw too many times on third and short as we have no confidence in the run game or we have had to pass more on 2nd downs as we find ourselves in 2nd and 8-9-10 yards to go.
