Assume the decision to play Tanner this week is yours. Aggravating a hamstring is fairly common.

Option #1: You can play Beau Hoge and accept a probable loss, but know that Tanner will be 100% for San Jose State on Nov 6th (we'll assume he's out for the Wagner game, which is a win anyway)

Option #2: Play Tanner with the risk of aggravating the injury and losing him for the rest of the season.

You will decide to go with option #1 if the doctors tell you that playing Tanner gives you an X % chance of losing him for the rest of the season.
