If we had a stable of 4-star backups like Alabama, then I would be OK with using them for punt/kick returns. At BYU, we are lucky to have a solid group of starters, let alone quality backups. I think that it's a big mistake using Hanneman like this. It really hurt our secondary a few years ago when Jordan Johnson was hurt while practicing kickoff returns.
