Aside from common sense you mean?
Do I really have to explain how many more teams are recruiting in Utah than were 15 years ago? Or how much easier it is to find highlights of players with social media? Or how much more attention is placed on recruiting in general? Yes, recruiting has always been competitive, but any coach will tell you that has changed dramatically in the last 20 years, and pretending that it hasn't is either ignorant or intentionally biased.
