Tanner is very old school with respect to snaps. Sometimes I wish he would snap it sooner, but I don't think that's his m/o.
On the other hand, time of possession has improved dramatically with him so that is a bonus as well.
Time of possession will be one of the keys against Cinncinnati IMO. If they don't have the ball, they can't score. A big ToP differential could mean 1 or 2 fewer possessions for them in the game.
