Here's I would like to see happen with the program this offseason - I'll try to keep it as logistically realistic as possible, but remember I'm just a fan. I'll do this in chronological order (not in order of priority):

1. Dec 2015 - BYU beats their oppenent in the bowl game this year. I would love to see a BYU vs. Utah matchup in Vegas, even if it's unlikely. C'mon ESPN, give the mountain time zone something to look forward to this bowl season. 
2. Jan 2016 - Nick Howell released as DB's coach/Asst DC. I've met this guy. Football attitude about him, but I don't feel the guys are reaching their potential under his watch. Would love to see someone like Brian Logan step in as a GA, with Bronco focusing his specific attention on just the secondary. 
3. Jan 2016 - Taysom Hill announces return to BYU for final season. I've gone back and forth on this one, but ultimately I think it would do him a lot of good to come back and fill a similar role as he had when he got here: Where he can line up and just treat the play like a Wildcat, or audible in to something else. I get chills thinking of Jamal, Mangum, and Hill all in the backfield at the same time. Put Algie Brown in as an H just for fun. 
4. Feb 2016 - Nike announces major agreement with BYU to become exclusive merchandise provider. Pro Combat concepts forthcoming for '16 campaign. It's high time this happened. The wide array of "options" at the BYU store is a joke. It looks like a college intern puked on the inventory sheet. Suck it up fans, Nike is a powerful partner in recruiting, branding, and merchandising. I'd also love to see Nike come up with some cool Pro-Combat concepts for at least one home game, to be potentially worn again for the 2016 bowl game. 
5. Feb 2016 - Royal blue reinstated as primary home color. Time to say goodbye to the Navy blue. It's been a good ride these 17 years ('99-'16), but it's time to go back to the real royal blue. In the late 90's, Royal wasn't a trendy color, and navy helped boost sales. Now royal can be safely returned to without damaging the brand. Especially with Nike pushing product. 
6. Mar 2016 - Plans announced for major stadium renovation after 2016 season. The time has come. The Marriott Center annex will be complete. Lavell Edwards Stadium will be next: it will be gutted and renovated to enhance the game day experience in Provo. Three phases:
   1. Phase 1, Winter/Spring 2016-7 - New cushioned seating in all exisitng chairback sections; new chairback seats for all lower portal sections (1-9; 21-29; 31-37; 41-49). 2016 stadium capacity reduced to about 55-60,000. 
   2. Phase 2, Winter/Spring 2017-8 - Stadium corners are FINALLY FILLED IN (follows the same chairback format in lower sections, in step with the rest of the stadium); Press Box & President's Loge gutted out and updated; TV camera platforms are reinforced to eliminate camera shake when the fans rumble the house. Google Fiber High speed Wi-Fi added. Nursing rooms added under the corners. 2017 Stadium Capacity about 70-75,000.
   3. Phase 3, Winter/Spring 2018-9 - Exterior structure completed to enclose the stadium entirely. Cougar Den, concessions, and bathrooms expanded and renovated with improved ventilation, TV screens, and improved audio.
7. Apr 2016 - BYU completes Spring Practice with no injuries. Mangum confirmed as the starter; Hill playing in multiple combo schemes. Passing game looks better than ever, as does the much improved secondary. Warner Bros. Fred and Troy dominate on defense. 
8. Media Days 2016 - BYU announces four-year scheduling partnership with the Big XII (similar to ACC-ND partnership). Agreement guarantees BYU 5 opponents a year: 2 at home, 3 away, with the option for a 6th game at a neutral location. This improves SOS for both parties, although still does not grant BYU official P5 status.
9. Summer 2016 - Uneventful. Yes, I'm hoping for a quiet summer.
