To start, I am not satisfied to give up pursuit of membership in a major conference..... But if the end of that road does not result in an invite, it seems to me that those of you against joining an enhanced AAC are refusing to do so simply out of pride.

You do realize that we are already playing seven MountainWest or AAC teams this year don't you? So basically, we are already playing one of these schedules yet do not have the benefits of competing for conference champion and likely getting an automatic New Year's Day bowl invite.... Not to mention playing in what would be an outstanding basketball conference. This makes absolutely no sense except that some are too proud to accept any scenario where Utah is in a better conference than us. Seems like cutting off your nose to spite your face..... Unless there are some major financial disadvantages that I am not aware of
