An 11-1 Notre Dame would have beaten Georgia Tech, Texas (who beat Oklahoma which is why i have them on this list)
USC, Temple and Stanford. All good wins. Their only loss would be to the number one team by 2 points on the road.
An 11-1 Oklahoma would have beaten Tennessee, West Virginia, Oklahoma State, Baylor and TCU. And they had a neutral site loss to Texas who once again Notre Dame beat handily early on.
Just my opinion of course. Oklahoma of course is a top tier Big XII team with name recognition. If it was say Baylor against Notre Dame or TCU against Notre Dame I think the committee picks Notre Dame handily. But Oklahoma may get in because they would be One True Champion (eye roll), have a national name, and their last two wins were ranked teams.
