Yes, but you need content to play at that resolution. It's not like we're
talking tube tv's versus LED's here. If the majority of the content that the OP views is not in 4k, why pay for that feature? Even if 1 in 5 of his programs are in 4k, that means that 80% of his experience could be enjoyed on a much larger tv for the same price with the same efficacy as the smaller 4k screen.
