I don't ever expect BYU football to be elite like a top 10 team each and every year (top 25 at season's end every four years would be nice) but losing to a 4-5 bottom feeder SEC team is not acceptable. The following week, Mizzou got destroyed by a 6-4 average Tennessee team that made Mizzou look like the bad team that they are. Why couldn't BYU do what Tennessee did to Mizzou? Mizzou looked all world against BYU and had one of their highest offensive totals of the year. If BYU cannot beat bottom half P5 teams consistently, then how are they going to garner the respect to get into a P5 conference? Or better yet, how is BYU going to get into an NY6 Bowl or College Football Playoff when we lose these types of games. It happens 1 to 2 times per year with Bronco at the helm of losing games like these to sub par opponents. Its not acceptable.
