True, but in his defense maybe the situation worsened right before the season
Maybe there's an argument that it's still more on the coaches.
At any rate, it seems like it was a gamble on USU's part to block him and now they're paying the price of Yahoo running a story about a sucker punch being swept under the rug, etc., regardless of whether any of it was really a big deal or mattered at all.
