Aggie fans like to believe (or try to pretend) they are more "righteous" than the hypocritical BYU fans and players. They rejoice in our moral failings because it proves they are better than us. They have a chip on their shoulders because they envy us.

Ute fans fully embrace the dark side. They are despicable and they know it. Most Ute fans have no desire to be "righteous" and they mock our standards. They rejoice in our moral failings because they prove we are just as immoral as they are. They have a chip on their shoulders because they hate what we stand for.

One notable exception: active LDS Ute fans often resemble Aggie fans.

All things considered ... Ute fans can be easier to deal with because they are a little less sanctimonious and a little more intellectually honest.
